Is It Ethical For me, The Attorney, To Refer My Clients To Number One Funding NY?

Yes, it is 100% legal and ethical to refer clients to us. We make litigation funding a very useful and sustainable tool for your clients and provide you with the time to negotiate the settlement or verdict with the best possible outcome.

What can Number One Funding NY do for plaintiffs?

We provide cash to personal injury victims on a pre or post-settlement basis with ZERO out-of-pocket fees.

Why should you the attorney recommend our company to your client (plaintiff)?

We offer one of the lowest rates in the litigation funding arena. Our rate is only 2.75% compounded monthly compared to other companies whose rates may reach 9%. We will also CAP your client’s funding. Your clients will NEVER pay more than twice the total advance amount! Example: A 3,000 advance, will never pay more than $6,000 REGARDLESS OF THE LENGTH OF THE CASE! This will result in huge savings for your client. Moreover, we have among the lowest application fees.

What is the application fee?

The application fee is only 10% of the funded amount and NEVER greater than $500, REGARDLESS of the amount funded. This fee is added to the financed amount.

What Documents Does Number One Funding NY Require?

Our requested documents include but are not limited to a copy of the Plaintiff’s complaint, bodily injury limits, police/ incident reports, a list of medical bills incurred, and a copy of all relevant medical records (i.e. MRI reports, post-op reports, Surgery reports, etc.).

What is the process?

Is good credit necessary to qualify for money?

A credit score is NEVER considered in the approval process

How long does it take for plaintiffs to receive their money?

Once we have discussed and verified the details with the attorney, and have evaluated the case, we’ll offer your client a lawsuit cash funding. The client will have the money within 24-48 hours of signing the paperwork.

Does Number One Funding NY have a minimum funding amount?

We will fund a minimum of $500 for pre-settlement funding and we have no set maximum amount for a funding advance.

Does the Plaintiff repay the money if the case is lost?

No, this is a non-recourse advance. This simply means it DOES NOT need to be paid back to us if the case is not settled or if there isn’t another financial recovery.

Does the plaintiff owe any upfront out-of-pocket fees?

No, there are no upfront fees whatsoever! Repayment of the cash advance and underwriting fee is only due at the time your case is settled or if there is another financial recovery.

Does Number One Funding NY get involved with the case?

No, we never get involved in any aspect of the case.

Does your client need money for surgery?

No problem! Surgery funding follows the same process as regular pre-settlement funding. The only difference is upon approval, we’ll send the money directly to your client’s physician.
